From Runway to Red Carpet: The Dark Side of the SAG Awards

Here's Part Two of my SAG post. This time, its about dark, brooding, sexy colors. You'll be seeing black, navy and some darker shades. If you haven't seen the first one, click!

The pictures will be shown at random, not because I like the first one or I'm playing favorites, kay?

The Good Wife looks good!
Julianna Margulies looks amazing in this Yves Saint Laurent gown.
I never really see her as a dressed up actress, that's why I am pleasently suprised by this.
She paired her gown with a YSL clutch.
Oh, and she won the Best Actress for Drama.

After her amazing minimalist Calvin Klein on the Golden Globes,
Claire Danes hit the red carpet with maximum aplomb.
She's wearing a printed and appliqued Louis Vuitton gown
and Fred Leighton jewels.
I love the belt which added a slight casualness to the look.

Bring Old Hollywood glamour to the present is Mad Men star January Jones.
Looking every bit a star in this Carolina Herrera lace gown.
The gown is from the designer's Pre-Fall 2011 collection.
They say "Less is More" but in this look, "Lace is More".

Nicole Kidman looked pretty amazing in this romantic black gown form Nina Ricci.
The black gown with lace inserts is from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection.
Although the Fred Leighton necklace is stunning, it doesn't look right on this gown.
Some pretty earrings would make this better.

One of my fave Glee star on the red carpet is Dianna Agron.
She always looks sophisticated and she didn't disappoint in this Couture gown.
The dress is from Chanel's Fall 2010 Couture collection.
She's wearing something more commercial that the runway version.
Fred Leighton jewels and Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and shoes finishes her look.

Who says black is boring? Not on this look.
Kyra Sedgwick looks amazing, not to mention sexy,
in vintage Thierry Mugler Couture.
Cartier jewels and a Kilian by Kilian Hennessy clutch completes her look.
Simple and classy!

Pantsuits can be a little too casual for an awards show
but I forgive Julie Bowen for rocking one at the SAG Awards.
For the reason that she really looks good in it.
The pantsuit is from Malandrino and she added Neil Lane jewels.
This is mannish chic!

Paz de la Heurta looked interesting in this Twenty Cluny number.
The gown is very on trend because of the sleeves
but matching it with your lip color brought it down the syle notch.

Still looking sweet even in black is Amber Riley.
She paired the black gown with bangs and a pink lip.
The gown is from Anne Barge.
She's also wearing Chopard jewels.

Helena Bonham Carter looked amazing in this black and white dress.
The dress is from Marc Jacob's Resort 2011 collection.
A nice transition from her Golden Globes look.

So, what do you think? Tell me!

See yah later!
