V Gaga

Sorry for the lack of posts with myself in it, I have been wearing the same things since the rainy season started. I wouldn't want to share that because it is soooo boring. So here's another editorial post, this time from V magazine.

V magazine is an American fashion magazine launched in 1999. (BTW, they also have a men's magazine, VMan which started in 2003 and is published quarterly) I have never seen a V in Manila so for those interested to send me a copy, please do so! Natch!!!

Anyway, here is their Fall 2010 cover and editorial from Nicola Formichetti's blog.

Marc Jacobs and Lady Gaga shared the cover, actually there are three covers with them in it. This is my favorite. The "V" is by artist Dan Colen

Another cover features Marina Abramovic and model Tyson Ballou with Artwork by Aaron Young
They are both wearing Givenchy. Yes! even the lion cloth, which is actually a shirt, is from Givenchy

Lady Gaga wears a dress, which seems to have fallen and looked like the skirt, by Louis Vuitton, bra by Calvin Klein, shoes by Noritaka Tatehana and a paper torch from the Haus of Gaga.
Marc Jacobs wears his own clothes and accessories.

The editorial features 26 inspiring Big Apple names from the likes of Marina Abramovic, Chloe Sevigny and more.

Liya Kebede wears a suit by D2, shoes from Michael Kors and her own necklace.
Andre' Balazs, Hotelier, is seen here in a suit by Emporio Armani, shirt, tie and shoes by Giorgio Armani.
Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, is wearing pants by Givenchy, Boots by Giorgio Armani, and his own accessories.
Legendary musician Debbie Harry wears a DKNY dress, belt and bag from Giorgio Armani, shoes from Calvin Klein Collection, tights by Falke and still her own accessories.
This is a little TMI and my fingers are now aching. bam!

Fashion credits and some other photos can be found on Nicola's blog. Sorry, I can't type anymore!
I know, I am such a lousy blogger!!!
